Making a Global impact through Prayer and intercession.

Life’s circumstances change on a daily basis. In fact, things can go from good to bad to worse in a very short time. God calls us to bring our concerns to Him for disposition and potential blessing. He also calls us to share our joys and triumphs with Him.

Calvin affirms that "Words fail to explain how necessary prayer is". He says that the providence of God does not exclude the exercise of human faith. While the Keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, Calvin says, "yet He is inactive, as if forgetting us, when He sees is in idle mute.

So Abraham prayed to God and God healed the family of Abimelech (Gen 20: 17). Prayer has to be offered. Intercessory prayer has to be made. God specifically 'programmed Himself' to listen and to answer Abraham's prayer for Abimelech. The environment we set for prayer, the posture we take in prayer, the focus and attention we attach to prayer do result in great answers we receive from God. God answers your prayer. As we get ourselves this weekend for intercession for our churches, pastors, families, services and the nations may we receive direct and specific answers from the Lord. God bless you

Breaking Through by Prayer

Luke 18:1 - 'Men ought always to pray and not give up'

A week last Sunday, the 9th of November, marked the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Berliners mounting the wall and hacking away at it with picks and hammers became an iconic picture of something that seemed so unchanging and unbending-Communist Eastern Europe-shifting forever. Whilst we recognise there are still issues and tensions, the recent upheavals in Ukraine being a case in point, almost all commentators agree that what took place at that time was a
good thing.

For believers we recognise the spiritual dimension to all this. The situation had caused many to pray over the years, even on occasions defying the sceptical view that nothing would ever alter. Let me give you one example of this:

This year in June Pastor Christian Fuhrer passed away aged 71, though living in Germany all his life his obituary found itself into the pages of the British press. In 1980 Fuhrer began to lead St. Nicholas church in Leipzig then in Eastern Germany where atheism was the official ideology. By 1982 prayer meetings  were being held every Monday evening for change in the nation, for several years little more than 50 attended regularly. Then in 1988 a special prayer event took place that proved a catalyst for other prayer contexts and a momentum that ultimately proved unstoppable.

The GDR Secret Police - The Stasi - sought to cordon off the St Nicholas church on Mondays evenings but to no avail. By October 7th of 1989 four thousand people turned out to pray, days later 70,000, and by late October 320,000 came onto the streets for a peaceful prayer vigil, a few days after this the wall began to be toppled!

Pastor Fuhrer said: 'I will never forget that day, it was a miracle of biblical proportions'. What 'walls' do we need to see tumble? Mark Batterson, the leader of a fast growing church in Washington DC said: 'Prayer is the big difference between you working on God's behalf and God working on our behalf'

Never give up on prayer, who knows what the Almighty is about to do! (Phil Pye)

Blessings to you intercessors, this topic we are praying about today"poverty and homeless" is a reality in our present world ,we see this  on TV,hear them on radio and experience them in our neighbour hood.
For what we are seeing on  in California (Los Angeles) at the moment its a living, vivid and sad REALITY.This city is known to be a mega rich city actually the rich get richer, riches unimaginable; but yet there are numerous people who are poor, destittutes and homeless. The worst is seeing mothers with their children roaming the streets of the city begging for food, there is one woman and her daughter Esther particularly, who approached us for help we invited them home and we offered them food and they went their way. However the situation seemed to become so bad that they had to knock on our door in the middle of the night to ask for help. Apart from that we also see people going from one refuse bin to the other looking for food not only that there are people who look healthy and normal but yet sleep by the roadside. These are the realities of the need to cry out to God in prayer so God will intervene in the lives of these poor people. We believe your prayer and support for GRPM will help make a difference in our world.  God bless you.  Rev Gabriel & Pastor Faith Kretchy

The test of fulfilling our destinies lies in our implicit trust in God to take care of situations we do not have control over. Joseph said "does not interpreta tion of dreams belong to God". There are things in our lives that only God can explain or give us understanding. Our prayer for you today is that God might make plain, open up hidden truths, disclose hidden plots, unravel treasures that have been buried and decode codes about your future and His purposes for you. Paul's prayer was that "the eyes of our understanding being enlightened so we may know what the hope of His calling is and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints; and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe in accordance to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised him from the dead and set him at His right hand in the heavenly places; far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come" Amen

This is a beginning of a new week and it is just right to expect new things from the Lord. The destiny we are awaiting is right here with us and staring at us. May you see what God is up to and plug your spirit and mind into it. Isaiah said remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I the lord do a new thing, now it shall spring forth: shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The enemy is an expert in keeping historical records and God is the Master of giving new start despite the challenges you may have experienced in the past. Jabez prayed that the Lord would break him free from the pain of the past and to give him a blessing for a fresh start. His request was granted as God had not designed His people to experience perpetual pain. I pray that God would break you free from any pain or hurt you may have been carrying that you might be a partaker of a release into your prophetic destiny. Shalom to you.
